27th September, 2024: Chikkaballapur : Shidallagatta Taluk, Basavapattna Village, As a part of RAWE Programme the final year BSc agriculture students organised Animal Health Camp in Basavpattna Village.
About 74 animals were treated yesterday in Basavapattna Village.
In amend of Rabbis Month , Pet Dogs were vaccinated with rabbis vaccine.
Cow, Sheep & Goat were also vaccinated.
Private companies such as Alembic Ltd authorised person Lokesh, Intas Ltd authorised person Ranjith promoted and distributed the recommended Pharmaceutical for necessary treatment.
Farmers brought there animals and asked the doctors for prescribed treatment.
The camp was conducted by Department of Animal Husbandry & Fishers officials Dr Dhanunjaya, Malamachanahalli Doctor,
Dr Prashanth, Taluk Animal Mobile Ambulance head & Extension Officer to the Animal Husbandry department and Dr Nithin, veterinary Officer.
The programme was under the Presidented by Dr Suresha K B, Professor Dairy Technology & Village Incharge to Basavapattna.
Along with Dr Sivappa, Associate Professor, Horticulture and Dr M V Srinivasa Reddy, RAWE Co-ordinator.
The officials also visited the crop museum located in Basavapattna Village had a conversation with students about the recently released varieties and the properties of the variety which has been sown in the crop museum.
Final year agriculture students were Chinmay, Eshwar Nagaraj S V Setty, D K Suma, Geetha G J, Berlinge Gowda, Beerlingesh, B Parusharam, Chethan, Jyoti, Harshitha, Gowthami, Arbaz, Bharath A D& Devraj V were present.
