Considering the land availability, the size of the plots may be increased or decreased.

Microbial consortia need to be applied after 10-15 days after sowing. ( Take the required quantity of water in a bucket and put the microbial consortia, stir it and apply in a mug along the rows.)

Azolla should be cultivated near the FPTDP.

Five technologies for Demonstrating in the farmer participatory Technology Demonstration park (FPTP) during RAWE programme -2024-25

1) Management to tomato fruit borer

– Trap crop- Marigold

– Releasing egg parasitoid, Trichogramma chilonis 

– Helilure pheromone traps

– Biorational pesticides

2) Management fruitfly in mango and guava using methyl eugenol traps 

3) Integrated management of pests in chilli

– Barrier crops

– Use of pheromone traps for Helicoverpa and Spodoptera

– Installation of yellow and blue sticky traps 

–  Releasing egg parasitoid, Trichogramma chilonis 

– Application of entomopathogenic fungi, Beauveria and Metarhizhium 

– Use of biorational pesticides 

4) Integrated management of pests in brinjal

– Barrier crops

– Use of Lucinlure pheromone traps for shoot and fruit borer

– Installation of yellow and blue sticky traps for control of thrips, aphids and whiteflies

–  Releasing egg parasitoid, Trichogramma chilonis 

– Application of entomopathogenic fungi, Beauveria and Metarhizhium 

– Use of biorational pesticides

The Sericulture technologies to be demonstrated during RAWE program are as follows .

1. Tree mulberry plantation / wider spacing for mulberry

2. Integrated nutrient  management in mulberry

3. Management is mites, thrips and lead roller pests of mulberry 

4. Three stage disinfection os silkworm rearing house

5. Management of silkworm uji fly

6. Management of spinning silkworms, harvesting and grading of cocoons.
