BAKERY TRAINING PROGRAM

Purpose of the programme was to teach farm women for establishing an enterprise at village level and become self-independent and to increase family income. The programme was conducted on 27 th October 2021 in school field, Ramachandran Hosur Village. About 25 women, 5 men and 18 school children attended the program.

KITCHEN GARDEN

Kitchen garden was established, behind Shivanna uncle home in a piece of land. Crops included there were leafy vegetables such as amarathus, coriander, Fenugreek, palak. Vegetables like raddish, onion, garlic, french bean, cowpea, lady’s finger, brinjal, tomato, chilli, capsicum, cabbage, yard long bean, dolichus. Climbers like bitter gour, cucumber, ornamental plants etc.

ANIMAL HEALTH CAMP

Animal health camp was conducted on 28 th of October. Around 90 (including cattle, sheep and goat) animals were diagnosed by doctors of veterinary department. Animals were treated against various disease and also fertility checks were made. Crop museum contained various varieties released by universities, local varieties on farm saved seeds and several fodder varieties, medicinal and ornamental plants.
