Bio fuel Energy training program was conducted on 28/11/2023 in collaboration with Bio fuel energy Research centre, GKVK, Bengaluru & Karnataka state Bio Fuel Energy development board, Bengaluru. Resource Person From
Research centre briefed farmers about importance of Bio fuel energy in the present global situation and its potential in
future due to increase in petroleum products price and the depletion. Government support in Promoting Bio fuel energy production sector incentives for farmers interested in bio fuel
energy producing trees growers. Distributed Pongemia pinnata saplings to farmers to promote Bio fuel energy production. Around 30 farmers were present during the training Program.

Canara bank collaboration on KCC and other
Govt schemes
On 29th November 2023 we conducted the meeting regarding KCC and other Govt schemes on collaboration with the Canara bank, Nayanahalli branch, Chikkabalapura.
They have explained about KISAN CREDIT CARD to give the information regarding the different types of loans so farmers can avail and also derive the benefits as far as possible.
KCC aims at providing the short term requirement of loans for cultivation of crops,post harvest expenses, produce marketing loans, consumption requirements of farmer
households etc.
And also explained about the different govt schemes which are helpful for the farmers.
They have conducted the demonstration of Drone which would be helpful for the application of the fertilizers efficiently and less time consuming when compared to other method of application.
On that day we have made a rally by displaying govt schemes on the vehicle in the Ajjawara village to create awareness regarding the different schemes of govt related to the
agriculture.

FARMERS’ DAY
We celebrated the Farmers’ day in collaboration with the Godrej company on 23rd December 2023.
Kisan Diwas also known as National Farmers Day is celebrated on 23rd December every year to mark the Birth Anniversary of the 5th Prime Minister of India, Shri. Choudhary Charan
Singh. This day is observed to honor and pay tribute to the farmers, who are considered the nation’s backbone.
It’s a day to acknowledge their tireless efforts, the sweat and sun they toil under, and the bountiful harvests that grace our tables.
The theme for “National Farmer’s Day 2023” is: ‘Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience’.

National milk day
We celebrated national milk day on 26/11/23 in
rangamandira to give respect to father of white revolution Verghese Kurien and farmers of India. We informed importance of milk and its processing.
We also gave badam milk to the participants.
November 26, 2023, marks the National Milk Day
2023 which holds a special place in the hearts of millions, as it pays homage to the visionary Dr. Verghese Kurien, the driving force behind the White Revolution.
This annual celebration, observed on November 26, serves as a tribute to his remarkable contributions to the development of the dairy
industry in India.
National Milk Day Significance With the production of milk on an unprecedented scale,
Operation Flood positioned India’s dairy industry as one of the largest self-sustaining sectors, contributing 4.5% to the GDP of India. Dr Kurien’s influence does not end with building
the classic milk brand, Amul, regarded as the gold standard in milk production.
Therefore, on National Milk Day, the country commemorates Dr Kurien’s hard work, informing the public about the benefits of consumption of milk.
The dairy expert wanted to build a self-reliant country through dairy development and
his vision remains echoed through the nation’s dairy space.

ANIMAL HEALTH CAMP
Animal health campaign was conducted in Ajjawara village on
22 November 2023 in association with Department of animal
husbandry with the support of various groups and
organisations.Animals are important part of agriculture monitoring animal health and preventing animal disease outbreaks is vital to economy and safety of country’s food
supply.
The major goals of vaccination are to improve health and welfare of companion animals, increase production of livestock in a cost effective manner.
With the same objective, as a part of RAWE programme animal health campaign was
conducted in each and every village.
A total of 172 animals, including cows, buffaloes, sheep, goat, and bullock were screened and treated.
Dairy farming is an important source of revenue for farmers next to sericulture in the village. According to our animal Survey report, the following are the number of animals in
Ajjawara village.
* Cow-68
*buffalo-4
*bullock-2
*Sheep-88
*Goat-10
Various stalls were set up near gram panchayat surroundings consisting of different fodder varieties , Azolla demonstration etc.
Information regarding different breeds of cow, buffalo,sheep, goat and hen and also about vaccination schedules forcow, goat and hen was displayed.
