- The research notebook consists of 100 pages serially numbered
- Students should record their research observations duly in the research notebook only.
- Only blue or black ballpoint pend shall be used for recording observations
- The concerned student is responsible for the loss or damage of the book/pages
- Overwriting strictly prohibited
- Students should carry research notebook always during discussions with major advisor/members of the advisory committee
- Students should submit the observation record to the major advisor for approval once in fortnight
- The advisory committee shall meet once every semester to review the progress of the student
- The advisory committee can indicate necessary suggestions in the research notebook
- Research notebook is the property of the university and the concerned student shall pledge the completed research notebook to the respective department at the time of final viva-voce and submit an acknowledgement to the directorate along with form 6
