KRISHI MELA, EXHIBITION AND INTERACTION SESSION” was held at Hullenahalli on 29th October in association with Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture ,Department of Sericulture ,KVK,Chandooraayanahalli ,Canara Bank Magadi , Graama Panchayati Hullenahalli ,Coramandal Fertilizers ltd and Hullenahalli Farmers . Shri. A. Manjunath, MLA Magadi Constituency inaugurated the Program and gave inaugural speech ,Dr.K C Narayanaswami , DOE,UAS,Bengaluru inaugurated Crop museum and Exhibition stalls and addressed farmers Mrs. Padma, President, Hullenahalli Graama Panchayat and other dignitaries were present during the Program. Crop Museum included Field crops, Millets, Pulses, Fodder crops ,Vegetables ,Green manure crops and IFS unit.IFS unit included Animal component, Fishery +Poultry, Goat+Poultry , Apiary ,Intercropping ,Vermicompost ,ZECC ,Azolla cultivation ,Floriculture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants. exhibition stalls consists department of agriculture under atma scheme stall,department of horticulture stall ,department of sericulture stall ,coramandal fertilizers ltd ,graama paathshaala ,canara bank magadi, kvk ramanagara stall and other student stalls. about 400 and above farmers witnessed the occasion. farmers were introduced with concepts of mulching ,azolla cultivation , green manuring with arecanut ,ragi variety ml-322 which is under farm trail ,vertical farming concept like sheep rearing at the top and poultry in below space ,fishery and poultry farming, aerobic rice , sri method of rice cultivation and vermicomposting .
