FOM LFOM PROM

Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) and Liquid Fermented Organic Manure (LFOM) are both types of organic fertilizers used in agriculture to enhance soil fertility and promote plant growth. Here’s a brief overview of each:

Fermented Organic Manure (FOM)

  • Composition: Typically made from plant and animal wastes that are decomposed and fermented.
  • Benefits: Improves soil structure, increases microbial activity, provides essential nutrients to plants, and enhances water retention in the soil.
  • Application: Applied to the soil around the plants. It can be used in gardens, farms, and for various crops.

Liquid Fermented Organic Manure (LFOM)

  • Composition: A liquid version of organic manure, often created by fermenting organic materials in water.
  • Benefits: Quickly absorbed by plants, can be used as a foliar spray or soil drench, and provides a fast-acting source of nutrients.
  • Application: Diluted with water and applied as a foliar spray or directly to the soil. Ideal for drip irrigation systems and foliar feeding.

PROM (Phosphate-Rich Organic Manure)

  • Composition: A type of organic manure enriched with phosphate.
  • Benefits: Provides a sustainable source of phosphorus, enhances root development, and improves flowering and fruiting in plants.
  • Application: Can be mixed with soil or applied around the base of plants.
