NANOFERTILIZERS AND ITS IMPORTANCE
To teach the importance of Nano fertilizers and its method of application the night meeting was conducted in the Rangamandira of Ajjawara on 17th November. More than 40 farmers actively participated in the interactive session of this
meeting.
The reason to choose this topic was that there was thatfarmers are not showing interest towards the Nano fertilizers although it is available in the society. In order to solve the
issue and spread the information about Nano fertilizers, this meeting was conducted.
Nano fertilizers are nutrients that are encapsulated or coated within nanomaterial in order to enable controlled release, and its subsequent slow diffusion into the soil. In India
commonly used nano fertilizers are nano urea and nano DAP.
