BIOGAS
Biogas play a major role in current condition where the nature is getting polluted by the petroleum products and thus the reliability on the biogas is having greter demand.
Types of biogas plants
Floating type and drum type
Both uses the agricultural waste kitchen waste domestic waste majorly cow dung and is fermented to release the ethene gas that is used for kitchen purpose.
BIOFERTILIZERS
On 12/11/23, a meeting cum method demonstration was conducted in Rangamandira of Ajjawara.
Firstly, we had an interaction session with the farmers regarding the knowledge and use of fertilizers.
Biofertilizers are substances containing microbial populations like bacteria, fungi, blue-green algae, etc. which help in promoting growth of plants by increasing availability and
supply of essential nutrients to plants.
Method demonstration-
The application of biofertilizers in seed treatment and FYM
enrichment was demonstrated.

(b) FYM enrichment-
Biofertilizers can be applied to the soil through enriched Farmyard manure. 4kg of Trichoderma biofertilizer is to be mixed with 80kg of FYM for applying to 1 acre of land.
For demonstration purpose, smaller quantities were used in the same proportion.
The enriched FYM was instructed to be
applied directly to the sowing rows.
