Sensor based irrigation system was demonstrated to the famers of Harohalli.The technology involved using moisture sensors which are placed at different locations on the field enabling location specific moisture application.
The setup also consists of a motor for pumping the water from the source and a program or an application to regulate it.Once the moisture goes below the critical level , the sensors detects the dip and the motor turns on automatically delivering water to the tha area.
