On December 11th of Monday, we had organised the Animal Health Camp under the chairmanship of Mr. Yashwanth, President of Milk Producers Cooperative Society, Mudugere.
The program started at 10.00 AM in the morning. We had invited the Director of Kochimul, Sri Kantaraju Sir along with him Deputy manager of feed and fodder section Sri Manjunathayya from Kochimul was also present. Dr. Satish, route doctor KMF was present.
Dr. Anand Maneger, Professor of Animal Sciences, Department of Animal Sciences and Fisheries, GKVK had taken lead to bring the dignitaries. MPCS president Yashwanth and Secretary Keshavamurthy were present.
To check the health of Animals there 4 doctors were present. Dr. Maruthi, Main Doctor, Veterinary Hospital, Gowribidanuru, Dr. Raghavendra , Main Doctor, Veterinary Hospital, Hosuru and students from Veterinary College, KVAFSU, Hebbal
We had arranged all the necessary things for the Health Camp under the guidance of Dr. YM Gopala. Along with the Health camp we organised the exhibition of different improved breeds of cattles, buffaloes, Goats , Chicken, Ducks and Dogs. We also bought daily requirements of animal rearing like Chaff Cutter, Feeds, Different plant fodder used, Articles regarding Vaccination, Azolla Cultivation and Benefits, Fodder Enrichment techniques , Cow rearing techniques, Poultry Techniques were displayed in the exhibition.
The Animal Husbandry Department from Chikkaballpur, distributed the feed and medicine kit to the farmers who visited with the cattles. Thereby more than 50 cows, around 20 dogs , 20 buffaloes and some goats took part in the Animal Health Camp
