WORKSHOP ON BLENDED LEARNING PLATFORM (BLP)
ICAR- Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, New Delhi and University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore organized a workshop on NARES – Blended Learning Platform (BLP) on 19.09.2023 in the North block Auditorium, GKVK.
Dr. K. C. Narayanaswamy, Director of Education in his chief guest’s remarks expressed the importance of advanced educational tools and gadgets in the changed learning situation. Dr. Alka Arora, Professor, Principal Scientist and Co-PI (NAHEP- component 2), ICAR-IASRI briefed about the workshop, its purpose and expectations from the University. Dr. N. B. Prakash, Dean (Agri.) complemented IASRI for incorporating necessary modules under NAHEP. Dr. Siddayya, Nodal Officer welcomed the participants and invitees and Dr. Vinay Kumar, R., Associate Nodal Officer extended vote of thanks.
After inaugural session, Mr. Tarun Khurana, Lead – Training Business Partner, Judge, Noida gave demonstration on Blended Learning Platform for faculty and students. There were 95 faculty and students in offline mode, while 15 joined virtually.
